" Friday Wind Wly a pleasant Breeze with fine clear Weather - At 8 AM Myself & four Men arrived here by land from Hudsons House. we have been fifteen Days on out Journey hither where we found all well James Spence excepted who had been ill near twenty days before my arrival and was near the point of death. Several Blackfeet Indians arrived brought a few Wolves & some dried provisions."

" Monday Wind Variable with thick cloudy Weather. Four Men getting ready to go down for the goods that lies at the steep Bank. the rest cut fire wood At 5 PM four Men arrived from Mr Tomison, two of which is to return."
