Bunn (Locum Tenens), Mark Prince, James Inkster, James Anderson, George Groundwater, James Slater (Firth), John Lyons, Christopher Harvey and Peiry Sutherland. I have left the last four Men to come down to Point au Futre with Provisions in a large Canoe not having sufficient to bring us back again for we never receive more than 25 days European Meat to carry the Men from Osnaburgh to Point au Futre. Mr Jn Sutherland have detained at the Mans Elbow 3 Men vizly Louis Jollycoeur, William Thompson and George Flett owing to his hav'g 1200 MB in goods remaining and is in expectation of making a good Trade during the Summer. no person residing Inland last Year is the cause of his being unsuccefsfull this which I am sorry to say is 900 MB lefs. the post Mr Millar occupied has been attended with the same Consequences being 800 MB short of last year which he says is owing to our latenefs in getting in for the Canad. has all the Ind. debted & sent out of his way that we may not see any. Brandon House is nearly the same as last year but would have been much lefs had it not been for sending twice to the Mandans during the Winter, for the Asniboils in general was starving all the winter owing to the mildnefs of the season & no Cattle near us except old Bulls. wishing better succefs next Year I beg to conclude
